About me:
I was watching birds in the backyard at 8, birding at 12, leading Audubon trips and Christmas Bird Counts at 15. I worked as a field ornithologist in my 20's and as an ecologist in my 30's and 40's. I started Take Flight Birding & Nature Adventures, a personalized birding guide service, in 2017 in Arizona and since moved it to New Mexico. I now call Santa Fe my home where I bird a lot locally and enjoy getting out in the field with others who enjoy birds. Since 2022, I have been offering birding classes and educational birding field trips in northern and central New Mexico.
